Pole Gentling The Wild Horse

Frank Bell and John Sharp's revolutionary approach to gentling wild horses. Hands down, the most humane, effective, and expedient method for starting with all untouched horses.

Frank learned the fine art of using a bamboo pole in the gentling of wild horses in the fall of 1997. His mentor John Sharp had been using the technique for over a half century and happily passed on the nuances of this exceedingly effective yet gentle method to his eager student.

Using the pole as a beginning, Frank has added his own twist to take this strong beginning to a logical completion. At the annual Wild Horse Workshops Frank along with the other clinicians are predictably gentling wild horses in one to two hours. Most importantly the majority of these animals never break a sweat!
